Join us at the RAC Arena to talk about the future of the Event Industry Association in our Open Board Meeting.

About this event With the staging of the AFL Grand Final and the Royal Show creating a real buzz in the community and more importantly, reminding the Government that events are not only great for the local economy but are also the engine room that is capable of driving industry and generating jobs, it has never been more important for the industry to continue to come together. During the past year, the EIA Board has been heavily focused on building positive long-term relationships with Government and Stakeholders and their efforts have been widely acknowledged. In doing so, the EIA has established itself firmly as the voice of the event industry. To enable the EIA to capitalise on these efforts, a 2021-2025 Strategic Plan has been prepared and we are inviting members and non-members (in fact, anyone involved in the industry) to attend an EIA Open Board Meeting to provide comments and suggestions. The EIA is the industry's vehicle to achieving beneficial and sustainable outcomes for the betterment of the event industry, both in the short and long term, and this is your chance to get into the midst of it all and help drive the EIA’s direction and policy. The forum will follow the scheduled EIA October Board meeting -
