Latest restrictions June 27th
WA Health has implemented restrictions due to a new Covid positive result in Perth.
The full list of exposure sites will be placed on the Health Department website later today. They include Connolly Primary School, and the Coles and Woolworths stores in Ocean Keys.
Perth and the Peel region will face a number of new restrictions for a minimum period of “three days”, starting from 12pm on Sunday.
Mask-wearing will be mandatory indoors, on public transport, and outside where physical distancing is not possible.
Crowd numbers at public events will be capped at 150 — meaning today’s Optus stadium AFL clash between the West Coast and Western Bulldogs will go ahead without crowds.
The 150-person limit — and two square metre capacity rule — will also be imposed on all other venues, including nightclubs, gyms, places of worship, and hospitality venues.
A 30-person limit has been imposed on all private gatherings.
