June Lockdown Grants

The results of the Small Business Lockdown Assistance Grant Program are slowly being filtered out to hundreds of Western Australian event businesses who applied for the much-needed $3,000 grants.

Notwithstanding the clear need for Western Australian event businesses to receive these grants, we are getting mixed feedback from members. Whilst some businesses are reporting that they were successful, a number of businesses - particularly event suppliers - are reporting that they have been deemed ineligible.

Given the lack of support that the industry has received throughout this pandemic, this is a particularly bitter blow for some businesses, however, in order to enable us to be able to provide this feedback to Government, we need to know just how many businesses have been rejected, and what types of businesses they operated.
