
Challenge Stadium was built in 1986 with its primary focus being a commitment to help develop elite sport and athletes in their pursuit of excellence. Now, we are committed to excellence across a myriad of activities - from elite sport to childcare, functions and events to health and fitness.
The Challenge Stadium Events Department can offer cost effective and flexible solutions for the requirements of any event - no matter the size. With floor space of 2,100 square metres the Main Arena is an ideal venue for exhibitions, trade shows, product launches, large conferences and sit down dinners. On the sporting side, a three-court set up can be accommodated for training or one court for a major event. Utilising the retractable and fixed seating, a capacity of 4,220 people can be accommodated. The world class catering team on site at Challenge Stadium can assist you with room layouts, menus, theming and entertainment. The team can also liaise on your behalf with audio visual and technical equipment suppliers, to make your function or event a resounding success.
