A past Chairman of the EIA, Jay has run major events in WA and around the world for over 20 years. He is also an experienced Public Relations and marketing executive.
Beginning professional life as an actor in Perth he spent several years in the Army during National Service in the 70s qualifying as an officer. Following study at UWA he was recruited and trained by IBM before being appointed their Special Events Manager for nearly 10 years, operating large complex events from Tokyo to Tasmania and from Monte Carlo to Mexico.
Returning to Perth he opened Lexmark WA, then McDaniell Associates, closing the doors in 2001 to travel to and live on a barge in France for 5 years. He have now returned to WA and the Events Industry.
