THE “EVENT ASSIST” PROJECT
The aim of “Event Assist Inc” is to aid the expansion of the Events Tourism Industry, which will contribute to both the economic and social sustainability of the Region.
WHAT IS IT ?
“Helping Hands for Community Events”
Event Assist Inc. is a new service for the Peel Region. Its aim is to provide information and training to those who currently run community events or would like to do so in the future.
The service provides training in a number of event related subjects including:-
Events Management
Grants and sponsorships
Marketing and Promotions
Risk Management
Insurance issues
Working with the Media Volunteer involvement And more………
The service also provides event evaluations and reports for sponsors etc.
Event assist Inc gives hands on assistance to event organisers.
A Database of recommended Traders, Suppliers and Entertainers is to be set up, to provide a guide to event managers as to where to find the best people to fill out their markets, supply their needs and provide top class entertainment. Over the years our events have located these special ‘Events People’ and have invited them to be part of this project.
Event Assist Inc. produces the “All Australian Car Day” & “British Auto Classic” each year.
