The EIA Board is made up of experienced and influential figures in the event landscape that are known to operate with credibility and respect in the industry. For those of you who were not at the AGM late last year, Luke Hanley from Lux Events (formally of Eventscorp) was elected to the role of President. Luke is joined on the board by the following senior industry players:
Luke is currently employed as the Business Development Manager with Lux Events and has extensive national and international experience across the sport and entertainment industries in both the private and public sectors.
Liz has extensive national and international experience as an event project manager primarily in the corporate meetings, association and incentive market. She is currently employed in the training and development environment.
Peter has over 35 years of experience in the audiovisual and events area has been the Managing Director of Perth Audiovisual since 1974. 35 years ago PAV began as a supplier of public address systems and entertainment services and has now grown to be one of the major suppliers to the professional audiovisual arena.
Since the establishment of Happenings Event Management in 1985, Jenny has undertaken a wide variety of events and functions and has established a strong profile in the private and public sector including state and local government.
Andrew has been an active participant in the WA entertainment industry since 1983 working predominantly on event production for a multitude of businesses and organizations. He is currently employed by Statewide Staging Systems as a Production Manager.
Zoe has over 15 years experience in the Events and Marketing industry both in Perth and Europe. For the past six years she has managed the events team at the City of Perth, overseeing a diverse range of external and City events including Skyworks. She has recently taken on a new role at Tourism Western Australia as Events Marketing Manager, to implement Tourism WA’s new event marketing strategy.
Currently the Technical and Production Manager with WASO David has had a wide variety of production experience with some of Australia’s premiere arts companies and large scale sporting events. In addition, David has lectured at WAAPA in computer aided design.
Ross has 13 years experience in local government, firstly as Recreation Centre and Recreation Officer, then as Cultural Development Coordinator. He is currently responsible for the coordination of large community events and festivals throughout the Town.
Jude is currently employed by Spotless Services with the responsibility for Liquor Licensing across a large portfolio, including venues, events and mine sites. Jude has a strong background in training and development, human resources and project management.
Sadly, Cassandra Brennan, our long standing (and long suffering) Executive Officer has resigned to pursue other projects and her replacement will be Jo Ryan. Jo has worked in the Events Industry for over ten years and we welcome her to the team.
